What is Pokemon Candy
Feeding Pokemon Candy helps your Pokemon to evolve and hence, level up. When you capture a Pokemon, you earn candy for that species now, you can feed that candy to that particular Pokemon to increase its Combat Power or evolve it. You can do this on Status Screen. Wanna learn a Candy trick? If you feed a Pinap Berry to a Pokemon before catching it, you can double the amount of candy you earn from a wild Pokemon. Catching and releasing a Pokemon repeatedly helps to stockpile candy and transfer ones with poorer stats to Professor Willow.
Pokemon Gyms
Pokemon Gyms resemble towers where you can leave one of your own Pokemon at a gym and defend it for your team. Each gym has its own photo disc that can be spun to receive free items and Pokemon XP. Seeing the color of the gym you can understand which team is currently in control of it. If it is under your team’s control, then you can drop one of your Pokemon’s there to help guard it, if there’s space in the Gym. If another team has control over the Gym, then you can battle against the Pokemon by defending it and winning back control. PokeStops
In Pokemon Go Pokestops are places to obtain items and hunt Pokemons. Marked on the map with blue icons they appear on the map only if you’re within the radius of 1-1.5 km away and in order to interact with it, you need to be at least 150m from it. If you’re at a PokeStop, simply tap on it and spin the photo disc. This will give you a handful of Pokemon free items and a Field Research task. It will turn purple on spinning, so wait for few minutes before you can spin it again.

Pokemon Go held in-game events regularly which involves many fun activities to do in the game.
