Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, over the years, has started various welfare schemes in the country. The main objective of the PM Modi Yojana is empowering different sections of the country. The aim is to make citizens self-reliant and to provide different sections of the country the benefits of PM Modi scheme . Between 2014 to 22, different PM Modi Yojana have been initiated by the Modi Government keeping in mind the needs, and requirements of the lower class, economically weaker sections, and middle-class society. This article will have information about various welfare schemes running under PM Modi Yojana in India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi Scheme List is listed below.
1. Agneepath Scheme
The Agneepath scheme set under the Defense Minister of the country, Rajnath Singh can be applied online. Only youth will be eligible. After the completion of 4 years, these soldiers will be called Agniveer. An amount of more than 11 lakhs will be provided to them by the government, for this scheme only from 17.5 years to 21 years. Under the Agneepath scheme 25% of the soldiers will be kept in the army on completion of the tenure in the army. The soldiers will be given an annual package of 4.76 lakh in the first year which will become 6.92 lakh in 4 years.
2. Operation Green Scheme
Operation Green Scheme, that began in the COVID period, is operated by the Ministry of Fertilizer Processing Industries of the Central Government. Held under the Self-Reliant India Campaign, the objective is saving the farmers doing horticulture cultivation has been set. The objective is to put fair price of fruits and vegetables will be provided by the government. For which the government has set a budget of 500 crores. Vegetables including potatoes, onions, tomatoes along with fruits have also been included under Operation Green scheme.
3. Vivad se Vishwas scheme
Vivad se Vishwas scheme, launched by the government is to resolve various tax matters. And the appeals under this scheme will be withdrawn by the Income Tax Department and taxpayers. This scheme will serve those against whom an appeal has been made by the Income Tax Department at a higher forum. Vivad se Vishwas scheme has solved 45855 cases so far. An amount of Rs 72,780 crore tax has been received by the government so far.
4. Matsya Sampada Yojana
This initiative by Indian government to double the income of farmers by the year 2022. The government has started Matsya Sampada Yojana whose objective of is to increase the export of fisheries sector by the government. Under this scheme, efforts will be made to increase the farmers’ income associated with fisheries and dairy. A budget of ₹ 20000 crore has been set by the Government for Matsya Sampada Yojana. Emphasis is given on fish farming of sea and pond under this scheme.
5. Kusum Yojana
The main objective of the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana is to provide solar powered solar pumps to the farmers for irrigation. The government has extended scheme till 2022. Under this a target of achieving 30.8 GW capacity has been set with a budget of Rs 34,035 crore. The government has set this budget for the successful implementation of Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana. Besides solar pumps, grid connected solar power and other privatized power systems are also planned on to be provided to the farmers through Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana. It is expected to benefit the income of the farmers will increase.
